    Accident at work
Slips, trips collisions either with something left or a hole in the pavement or highway

    Animals attack
According to NHS statistics, the number of people being treated for dog bites and other injuries from dog attacks in England has risen by over 40% in the last four years, to 3,800 a year. It is worrying to think that so many people are being injured each year by 'man’s best friend'.

If you are one of the unfortunate people that have been a victim of a dog bite or dog attack then you could make a claim.

    Road traffic accident
Whether you are a driver, passenger, pedestrian, cyclist or motorcyclist you may be entitled to compensation if you have suffered injury in a collision.

    Medical negligence
If someone feels they have incurred an injury due to the actions (or lack of actions) by a doctor, nurse, surgeon or dentist, then they may be liable to make a medical negligence claim (also known as a 'clinical negligence claim').

    Criminal Injury
Have you been assaulted or attacked in the UK within the past 2 years? If yes, and you have suffered a personal injury as a result of the attack, you may be entitled to make a no win no fee criminal injury compensation claim.
Although it is possible to make a criminal injury compensation claim against the actual person that attacked you, in most cases an attack claim is made through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA). The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority is a government funded scheme which was set up to provide compensation to people who suffer physical and psychological injuries as a result of violent crimes.

    Accidents and illness abroad
Holidays abroad should be enjoyable; but unfortunately, accidents and illness do happen. Accidents abroad can often ruin a holiday that has been saved for and planned for a long time - but Claims Direct can help you claim due compensation.

    Faulty products
We are a nation of consumers and while we expect all the products we buy to be safe and in good condition, this isn’t always true.

From cars to cleaning products, faulty products can cause injury if they're not in good condition and, if you suffer an accident because of a faulty product, you may be eligible for compensation.

    Public liability
Every occupier of land or buildings, whether it's a home, shop, office, leisure club, park or factory, has a duty to care for visitors' safety. Public liability is when someone hurts themselves because another person or group has neglected this duty. If you have an accident that isn’t your fault in a public place, then you may be entitled to claim public liability compensation.

    PPI Claims
If you have a loan, mortgage or credit card then the chances are you have Payment Protection Insurance (PPI).
Payment Protection Insurance is typically an insurance sold by banks and credit providers to cover your payment of an outstanding debt if you suffer an accident, become sick or unemployed. The insurance policy usually covers your payments.

Payment Protection Insurance has come into the news recently with cases being found to be more scandalous than the better known Unfair Bank Charges.

If you have a personal loan, mortgage or credit card the chances are that you have paid a sum of money for payment protection insurance. It is quite likely that such a policy may have been mis-sold to you. Payment protection insurance costs are usually added to your loan and interest charged on it making it a very expensive product.

Bank Charges & Credit Card Charges
If you have a bank account, there's a great chance that you have been suffering from bank charges that do not have any legal basis. You are being robbed from time to time.

What are some of the unfair Bank Charges?
If you noticed any debited amounts in your bank statement, you must consider identifying which ones are unjustifiable deductions. The best way to do it is to demand a copy of your bank statement from your bank in the last 6 years.

Some of the known unfair bank charges can be from bounced checks, late payment fees or penalties, and overdraft charges that are unjustifiable.

    Unenforceable credit agreements
Are you paying back much more than you owe?
A credit agreement is an agreement where credit has been given to you. It includes credit cards, personal loans, secured loans, store cards and vehicle finance.

    Did you know?
The Consumer Credit Act 1974 was introduced to protect consumers from banks and lending institutions. It sets out guidelines that must be followed by banks when providing documentation for loans and credit agreements.
You can challenge a credit agreement by asking the lender to provide a true copy of the credit agreement. Once you have this, the agreement can be examined to decide whether or not there have been any breaches of the law. This could entitle you to compensation. In some cases the creditor may be unable to provide a copy of the agreement and if this is the case you would not have to repay the money due on your loan.
